Bearcat Men Tabbed 26th In National Cross country Poll

The Northwest Missouri State men’s cross country team has been ranked 26th in this week’s USTFCCCA national cross country poll.

The Bearcats were also slated fifth in the Central region poll that was released October 12th.

Last weekend, the men’s team finished third at the FHSU Tiger Open in Victoria, Kansas. Fedrick Kipyego led the Bearcats after running to a fifth-place finish with a personal record time of 24:19.4. Kipyego and teammates Jacob Nkamasiai and Jake Norris all rank in the top-10 of Northwest’s all-time individual 8K performances.

Northwest will travel to Kearney, Nebraska, when they compete at the MIAA Championships on October 23rd.
