Maryville City Council Notes 6-14

–Approved a revised Utility Relocation Agreement with Evergy, INC regarding underground powerlines for the South Main Street Corridor Project. The revised amount will be roughly $500,000 less than the original amount of nearly $1.7 million to just over $1.1 million. The local match for the entire project following the $10.5 million dollar federal grant increased from $2.094 million to $3.246 million.

–Approved an Ordinance to Execute Amendment #2 to Design Professional Services Agreement with SK Design Group, INC for Engineering Design Services on the South Main Street Corridor Improvement Project. The amount not to exceed $21,000.

–Approved Marilyn Rhea, Paula Cobb & Jenny Rytting to 3-year terms and Bill Richardson & Jim Rash to fill vacancies with terms ending June 2022 to the Maryville Library Board of Trustees.

–Approved Ashlee Hendrix for another 3-year term as a board member of the Maryville Public Art Advisory Committee

–Approved a Resolution to Participate in the Missouri Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday from August 6th-8th.
