During a special meeting of the Maryville School Board Friday, the board approved that high school students move to a hybrid-teaching format beginning today (Tuesday) due to an increased COVID-19 count in the county and school district. The vote was 5-2 in favor. The change will last until Friday October 16th and will be re-evaluated at that date. The new format will have students in person classes on alternate days and online others. This does not include elementary or middle school students.
