Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce Reveals New Brand

Chamber Board of Directors releases Brand Update

Maryville, MO – The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce is proud to share our updated brand.   As the Chamber Board of Directors and staff took on the journey of updating the Chamber brand it became clear that a brand is more than just a beautiful new logo; our brand update has touched on every process, event and function the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce takes part in. We have worked over the past several years to ensure that we meet the needs of the Maryville and Nodaway County business community, and our brand update has helped us put those actions into words to help express our story.

During the brand update the Chamber Board of Directors considered many options, including historical; skylines, specific buildings, business categories and others were all considered. The logo is deliberately simple, not weighed down by too many designs or symbols. It must be focused on its mission. This is the goal of the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce branding. The logo was designed to communicate the strength of the Maryville and Nodaway County business community, standing firmly on the three fundamental pillars of ADVOCACY, CONNECTION & PROMOTION.

“The Board of Directors is proud to represent the members of the Chamber of Commerce. Our community is progressive and deserves a Chamber that looks as impressive as our businesses are,” said Chamber President, Gentry Martin. “We are so glad to finally share all the hard work that’s gone into our brand update.”

In conjunction with our brand update, the Chamber has released the latest edition of the Chamber Viewbook, highlighting Chamber members and extended information about our community, such as demographics and yearly events. These books are distributed across the state of Missouri, as well as in Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska tourism bureaus, and to individuals considering relocation to Nodaway County. We would like to thank the support of our Chamber members, community partners, Chandlerthinks marketing firm, and Past Presidents of the Chamber Board, Kaity Holtman and Brandon Stanley, for all their work and expertise on our brand update.
