A Kansas City man & woman were arrested following a high speed chase that began Friday in Fremont County, Iowa and ended in Andrew County. 22 year old Cardell Crawford fled authorities in Iowa after being pulled over for speeding on Highway 2 near the Missouri River. Drug trafficking was suspected and Crawford fled after a K-9 was requested. Speeds reached up to 130 MPH before Missouri authorities took over the chase and the vehicle was stopped on I-29 by spike strips. Crawford and passenger, 23 year old Brianca Williams were arrested for possession with intent to distribute over 50 kilograms of marijuana after 110 pounds of marijuana were found in the vehicle. Both were taken to the Andrew County Jail awaiting extradition back to Iowa.
