–Approved an Ordinance to Execute a Contract with Northwest A/V, LLC for Audio Visual Components in the Maryville Public Safety Facility. The amount is not to exceed $15,000 ($14,807).
–Approved an Ordinance Authorizing the President of the Maryville Betterment Corporation to Execute a Letter of Intent to Meet Conditions with the USDA regarding funding for an Aerial Ladder Truck ($660,000 grant/$640,000 loan over 15 years).
–Approved a Resolution in Support of Fair, Direct Federal Emergency Support to Reopen & Rebuild Local American Economies. The City has received nearly $10,000 ($9,990.72) in CARES Act Funding for COVID-19 and $52,000 for reimbursement of an Emergency Medical Priority Dispatch System. The City will likely submit additional COVID-19 related expenditures to Nodaway County for consideration prior to September 30th.
