South Page High School Named Carrie Chapman Catt Award Winner

South Page High School in College Springs is one of 18 schools in Iowa that have received the “Carrie Chapman Catt Award” by Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate.  The honor recognizes all schools that have registered at least 90% of students eligible to vote.  Pate created the award last fall to encourage voter registration in high schools to promote a new state law that allows 17 year olds to register and participate in primary elections.  South Page registered 100% of its eligible students.
