Workers On Strike At Albany Plant

A majority of Albany’s Johnson Controls employees were outside the plant protesting Monday morning.  The workers are striking citing bad working conditions, stagnant wages and low hazard pay.  The employees feel this makes their contract non- negotiable.  30 of the 162 workers at the plant have signed the deal.  According to employees, Johnson Controls wants them to work excessive overtime, 6 to 10 hour days, with just one Saturday off per month.
