Missouri Western Board of Governors Approves Program Cuts To Save $6M Annually

The Missouri Western State Board of Governors voted 7-0 Wednesday to make cuts to programs in an effort to save $6 million annually.  The move will affect roughly 60 full time faculty members, many more staffers and more than 300 students.  President Matt Wilson told the board he wanted to make sure students who came with intent to study those affected majors be able to do so and the programs would be “phased out.”
