Northwest Missouri State To Receive $4.8M From Fed To Support Student Aid For COVID-19

Northwest Missouri State University will be getting $4.8 million dollars in federal funding as part of student financial aid for COVID-19.  Senator Roy Blunt announced Friday Missouri schools will get $103 million in total as part of a $14.2 billion Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund.  This is the first phase of funds, with $6 billion designated for student expenses.  Students will get the money through the school via emergency cash grants.  The aid is part of the $2 Trillion coronavirus relief package Congress approved last month.
