Maryville, MO – The Greater Maryville Chamber of Ambassadors have recognized individuals and teams that exhibit great customer service for more than a decade. Highlighting that exceptional customer service not only creates positive relationships between businesses and their customers, but also builds lasting impressions of the community of Maryville as a whole. Th Ambassador hosted Customer Service Awards are now given as a monthly recognition, enhancing the importance of customer service year-round.
February’s Customer Service Award winner is Eric Lance, the Water/Sewer Maintenance Superintendent at the City of Maryville Water Department.
Lance was nominated by Gentry Martin for his continued efforts in customer service. There have been numerous problems with water pipes bursting underground over the past year. The Water Department has been documented digging up the issues in horribly cold conditions and working throughout the night in order to fix the problems for the community. Martin stated, “I feel that Eric and his crew have sacrificed more hours at home than most citizens are aware of.” He wants to thank Lance and his crew for the sacrifices they make to keep our water flowing properly. “It is a thankless job that deserves recognition and thanks from all the people that they serve,” says Martin. Thank you, Eric, for always going above and beyond.
