Governor Mike Parson made a stop Thursday in Andrew County on Route T near Amazonia to view bridges on I-29 in need of repair. Parson’s visit is part of a 50 million dollar investment by the state’s general fund to repair 45 bridges statewide. The initiative is called “Focus On Bridges.”
Parson says he is willing to work with the state legislature to find other ways to help fund infrastructure.
Attending yesterday with the Governor included State Senator Dan Hegeman and MODOT Director Patrick McKenna.
