Wednesday Missouri State Patrol released details on a boating accident that occured September 19th in Atchison County. 80 year old Max Peeler of Rock Port was on a homemade airboat while in flood waters near Route Z and I Avenue. The boat took on water and sank. 55 year old Deborah Hill of Winter Park, Florida was a passenger that needed care for minor injuries and was taken to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph. Peeler was not hurt. No other details were made available.
