Missouri Governor Mike Parson saw flooding in the Rock Port area Tuesday. He was with Congressman Sam Graves and State Representative Allen Andrews of Grant City. Atchison County Clerk Susette Taylor reports over 74,000 acres west of I-29 have been affected. 14 businesses have water damage and 1,300 farm buildings have been impacted.
It was great to have @GovParsonMO & State Rep. Allen Andrews up in Atchison County to get a firsthand look at the damage caused by the Flood of 2019.
We've got a long ways to go in the recovery process, but I'm grateful for all the help from both of them so far. pic.twitter.com/JCWdgSgn9R
