Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel reports East Third Street from Vine to Dewey has been closed for several weeks due to damage sustained by a 12″ water line break. McDanel notes the volume and pressure of the line created a significant void underneath the pavement. Repair should begin next week and is estimated to cost $120,000.
