Maryville Community Partners Create B-O-S-S To Allow Business Owners To Connect

Community partners including: Nodaway County Economic Development, the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce, Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation, Northwest Regional Council of Governments, Northwest Missouri State University and Downtown Maryville announce, B.O.S.S. (Business Owners Sharing Solutions).

B.O.S.S., beginning Wednesday, September 25th, invites entrepreneurs and business professionals to enjoy coffee and connect over business support and solutions. Modeled after Cup of Joe and 1 Million Cups, B.O.S.S. will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with a coffee social beginning at  7:30 a.m., and presentations beginning at 8 a.m. in the Bank Midwest Community Room. We will host two entrepreneurs who each will do a 10-minute presentation on their business followed by 15 minutes of questions and feedback from attendees.

“We know that investing in entrepreneurs is the best way to foster job creation and a vibrant community,” Lily White, executive director of the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce says, “after meeting with several entrepreneurs, we began to hear a common theme of wanting a support network with other entrepreneurs and business owners. We put our heads together and think that B.O.S.S. will serve as a great network as well as providing the space for finding business solutions.”

Join the B.O.S.S. team, Wednesday, September 25th at 7:30 a.m., as we present HOME by Sonja’s owner, Sonja Wolbert and Miller Mod Saw’s owner, Carl Miller. With coffee provided by Nodaway County Economic Development.
