The Bearcats will play nine regular season games and two exhibition contests in the non-conference portion of the slate.
Northwest’s two exhibition games will come against a pair of NCAA Division I foes in UMKC and the University of Northern Iowa. Northwest will travel to Kansas City on Oct. 29 take on the Kangaroos and will also make the trip to Cedar Falls, Iowa, on Nov. 24 to match up against the UNI Panthers.
Head coach Austin Meyer’s squad will open the regular season Nov. 8-9 at the Nebraska-Kearney Tournament. Northwest will play Wayne State on Nov. 8 and Minnesota-Crookston on Nov. 9.
Northwest will open its home slate in Bearcat Arena on Nov. 13 against Kansas Christian.
The Bearcats will wrap up non-conference play with a pair of tournaments in St. Joseph, Missouri, and Honolulu, Hawaii. Northwest will play Florida Southern (Nov. 29) and McKendree (Nov. 30) in St. Joseph. The Bearcats will square off against Alaska-Anchorage (Dec. 19) and Lindenwood-Belleville (Dec. 20) in Honolulu.
Basketball season tickets will go on sale Sept. 10. The Bearcat women will play host to 13 total home games in Bearcat Arena in 2019-2020.
