SEC Schedule Added to Non-Conference Slate
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Even with the 2019 college football season fast approaching, it’s never too early for Mizzou fans to make plans for fall weekends in 2020. Tiger fans can now start the planning process, as the full schedule for the 2020 season has been completed. The Southeastern Conference has finalized dates for league games that season, as announced today.
The addition of four SEC home games in 2020 will give Tiger fans seven games at Faurot Field/Memorial Stadium, as well as five exciting road trips to take in. The month of September will see the Tigers host Central Arkansas (Sept. 5) to kick off the season, followed by home contests against Vanderbilt (Sept. 12) and Eastern Michigan (Sept. 26), sandwiched around a road game at South Carolina (Sept. 19).
Head Coach Barry Odom’s squad will then hit the road for a pair of away contests to begin the month of October, with games at Tennessee (Oct. 3), followed by MU’s first-ever game at BYU (Oct. 10). The Tigers will return home for two weeks to close the month, with consecutive games in Columbia against rivals Georgia (Oct. 17) and Kentucky (Oct. 24).
Like October, the month of November will see the Tigers start with a pair of road games, followed with two straight at home to close the regular season. The month begins with Mizzou’s first-ever game at Mississippi State (Nov. 7), followed by an appearance in the Swamp against Florida (Nov. 14), before MU closes out the slate with home games against Louisiana (Nov. 21) and against Arkansas (Nov. 28) in the annual Battle Line rivalry game.
