The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved an application filed by KCP&L to adjust the Demand Side Investment Mechanism charge on customer bills. A residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt hours of electricity per month will see the charge increase by approximately $3.54 a month, starting August 1st.
