30 year old Michael Jay Ebrecht of Maryville was served with an arrest warrant Wednesday by the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office. Charges include sexual misconduct involving a child under the age of 15. Ebrecht was questioned at the sheriff’s office Tuesday. An investigation revealed the alleged abuse was against two children in Hopkins in 2017. A mental evaluation was ordered by the court and Ebrecht was taken to a mental health facility.
