A Stanberry man was killed Saturday morning in Gentry County when the golf cart he was driving collided with a pickup truck. 60 year old David R Newton of Albany was eastbound on Highway 136, 3 miles northeast of Stanberry when 89 year Ralph O Pierce was crossing the road southbound. Newton hit Pierce who was ejected. Pierce was pronounced dead at Mosaic Hospital in Albany.
