Northwest’s Hopkins To Be MIAA’s Next IRC Chairperson

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The MIAA announced that Northwest Missouri associate athletics director for compliance and senior woman administrator, Lori Hopkins will be the next chairperson for the Institutional Representative Council (IRC).

Hopkins previously served as the vice chairperson for the IRC over the past two years. She fulfills the role vacated by Scott Unruh, the faculty athletic representative at the University of Nebraska Kearney, whose term expired with the conclusion of the Association’s June meetings.

The IRC consists of athletic directors, senior woman administrators and faculty athletic representatives from each of the 14 members institutions in the MIAA. Hopkins began her tenure at Northwest in 2002 and served as a women’s basketball assistant coach before transitioning into her administrative role.
