Northwest Missouri State Women’s Golf In Sixth Place After The First Round Of The NCAA Division II Central Region Preview

-Northwest set a single-round school-record on its way to a sixth-place showing through the first 18 holes of the NCAA Division II Central Region Preview.
-The Bearcats broke the previous record of 309 set in 2013 at the second round of the William Jewell Tune Up.
-Northwest sits only 10 shots out of first place after the first day’s action.
Nikki McCurdy leads the Bearcats in scoring with a score of 75, giving her a share of 12th place.
-McCurdy is one of the leaders in birdies at the tournament with three (No. 5, No. 6 and No. 10).
Mady Acers birdied No. 11 and Morgan Thiele birdied No. 12.
