Friday afternoon a 2.6 magnitude earthquake struck in St Joseph. The tremor was confirmed at 5:46pm by the US Geological Survey. No damage or injuries reported. The USGS also reports minor quakes were felt in Oklahoma and there was a 3.5 jolt near the Nebraska/South Dakota border in Valentine, NE over the weekend. The depth of the St Joseph tremor was 7.5 miles deep compared to NE/SD at 3.5 miles deep.
