56 year Danny Cardin of Homer, Louisiana has been sentenced to 5 years in prison and must pay more than $77,000 in restitution for dragging a man in his tent while he was sleeping during RAGBRAI in July of 2016. Cardin seriously injured 68 year old James Foley of Jacksonville, Florida. The incident happened in a Shenandoah campground. Cardin’s blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit.
