National Weather Service crews confirmed Thursday morning an EF-0 Tornado touched down in Holt County Wednesday evening. The twister made ground at 7:18 near Big Lake State Park, traveled 4 miles and finished at 7:22, 3 miles south of Bigelow. The peak gust was estimated at 80 MPH and the twister was 25 yards wide.
This is still preliminary data, but it looks like there was a tornado that started near Big Lake State Park in MO and moved just south of Bigelow, MO producing EF-0 damage last night. Luckily, so far no injuries have been reported. #mowx pic.twitter.com/0L7i6f5ll9
