Louisiana Man Found Guilty Of Willful Injury During Incident At 2016 RAGBRAI In Shenandoah

A Fremont County jury has convicted 56 year old Danny Cardin of Homer, Louisiana was been found guilty of causing serious injury by vehicle.  The verdict was rendered Monday which stemmed from a July 2016 incident in Shenandoah during RAGBRAI.  Cardin’s vehicle & trailer ran over the tent of 68 year old James Foley of Middleberg, Florida, dragging him 50 feet.  Foley was airlifted to a hospital in Omaha and spent two months at Creighton University Medical Center.  Cardin’s sentencing date has been set for May 21st.
