–Approved an ordinance to execute a contract with Keller Construction Company, INC for the 2018 Asphalt Mill & Overlay Project in an amount not to exceed $1.5 million ($1,512,577). The proposed project will overlay nearly 11 miles of streets beginning in May. (This is the largest amount ever spent for Asphalt Mill & Overlay In Maryville history).

–Approved an ordinance to execute a contract with JD Bishop Construction, INC for the 2018 Concrete Repair Project. The amount is not to exceed $277,000 ($277,291.10). The proposed project repairs large sections of deteriorated concrete streets in critical areas of the community.
–Approved an ordinance to execute a Restaurant Lease with Brown Bread, LLC for William Coy at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park. The proposed 3 year lease will generate a minimum of $30,000 per year. Opening of the new restaurant is scheduled for on or around June 1st.
–Approved an ordinance to Execute an Intermediary Relending Program Promissory Installment Notes in amounts of $105,000 & $9,000 ($9,235) with Nodaway County Economic Development for the Restaurant at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park.
–Approved an ordinance to execute a contract with Visu-Sewer, INC for Sanitary Sewer Main Lining along East 4th Street. The amount is not to exceed $19,000 ($18,646.88). The project will reduce I&I into the sanitary sewer system and allow staff to repair street cuts along East 4th Street.
–Approved an ordinance to execute a contract with Tri-State Ford Lincoln of Maryville to purchase two fleet vehicles. The amount is not to exceed $58,000 ($58,246).
–Approved an ordinance to execute a contract with Joe Machens Ford of Columbia to purchase a fleet vehicle. The amount is not to exceed $27,000 ($26,887).
