Greitens’ Political Future Faces Test In Legislative Report

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — The political future of Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens faces a big test when a special legislative committee issues its investigative report related to an extramarital affair the Republican had.

A special investigative committee formed by the Missouri House of Representatives will release its report at 5 p.m. TODAY.  The findings of the House Special Investigative Committee on Oversight will be made available on the Missouri House website located at www.house.mo.gov.

House Speaker Todd Richardson, as well as members of House Republican Leadership and members of the committee, will hold a press conference at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the North Side Gallery of the House Chamber.  House Minority Floor Leader Gail McCann Beatty and members of House Democratic leadership will hold a press conference in the same location upon conclusion of the Speaker’s news conference.
