Northwest Missouri State University is set to begin collaboration with A.T. Still University (ATSU) of Health Sciences in Kirksville, Missouri, to increase post-graduation opportunities for Northwest students who reflect the mission of ATSU and qualify for admission into its programs.
Representatives of the two universities will sign of a Memorandum of Understanding during a ceremony at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 2, in the J.W. Jones Student Union Boardroom on the Northwest campus.
The agreement is designed to provide admission opportunities to outstanding Northwest students who aspire to become osteopathic physicians in ATSU’s Still Scholars Early Acceptance Program at its Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM). It also provides opportunities for a select number of Northwest graduates to apply and interview for admission to the medical school.
