–Council approved an ordinance to execute a contract with Northwest Audio Visual for the purchase and installation of audio visual equipment for the Conference Center at Mozingo Lake Recreation Park. The amount is not to exceed $21,471.
–Council discussed rezoning campus town between 6th & 7th and Walnut to Fillmore from R-2 single family residences to an R-2M, which would include duplexes. This proposed move will be forwarded for further discussion to the Planning & Zoning Commission.
–Assistant City Manager Ryan Heiland briefed Council on an agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation regarding Mozingo Lake Recreation Park. A 25 year agreement expired June 8th, but renews annually, and MDC is looking to renew for another 25 years. MDC maintains fishery at Mozingo. MDC also pays 75% for infrastructure projects, with the City responsible for 25%.
