High Speed Chase Runs Through SW Iowa & NW Missouri Early Monday Morning

Early Monday morning Kelsey Dawn Amos of St Joseph was arrested for felony eluding in Taylor County after leading multiple agencies on chase that began in Clarinda.  The pursuit by Clarinda Police went south on Highway 71 into Nodaway County where Nodaway County deputies and Maryville Public Safety joined the chase.  Nodaway County deputies successfully deployed spike strips near Hopkins before Amos fled north on Highway 148 into Bedford then west on Highway 2 before stopping near Diamond Avenue.

A male passenger in the vehicle was taken to Clarinda Regional Health Center for conditions related to illegal drug activities.
