From Wednesday meeting:
–Approved fuel bids from Grey’s Oil & Gas for diesel at 1.69/gallon and Hy-Vee for their fleet vehicles at 2.11 for the 17-18 school year
–Approval of a bid of $100,000 ($100,305.02) for a new surveillance project for the entire district (security cameras) from Northwest Audio Visual.
–Superintendent Dr Becky Albrecht reported the district was $29,000 ($28,906) in the black for the upcoming school year with a total budget of nearly $19.3 million dollars.
–Summer school ends Friday (tomorrow).
–The board also recognized the following individuals for obtaining their GEDs via Adult Education Literacy:
