Governor Kim Reynolds will lead a trade and investment mission to Israel, which will take place September 6-13, 2017. The trip is aimed at expanding trade and investment opportunities for Iowa and is being coordinated by the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA).
The United States is Israel’s largest single-country trading partner. Iowa exports to Israel exceeded $30.6 million in 2016, a 14.5 percent increase over 2015. Additionally, exports from January to April 2017 increased nearly 300 percent over the same period last year. Key sectors that provide opportunities for Iowa companies in Israel include information and communication technology, agtech, biotechnology and animal feeds, among others.
