Bipartisan Group Of State Senators Call For Investigation Of Governor Greitens

A bipartisan group of state senators is calling for an investigation of Missouri Governor Eric Greitens after the Governor admitted to illegal and unethical conduct during his campaign, and the continued questionable activity of the Governor’s dark-money group, A New Missouri.

The Senate Resolution filed Monday afternoon, if passed, would establish a non-partisan Senate committee to investigate the Governor’s role in any illegal activity by his political campaign, and the potential illegal and ongoing coordination between the Governor’s campaign, official office, and A New Missouri.

Cosponsoring the legislation are Senator Jason Holsman (D-Kansas City), Senator Ryan Silvey (R-Kansas City), Senator Scott Sifton (D-Affton), Senator Bob Dixon (R-Springfield), Senator Rob Schaaf (R-St. Joseph) and Senator Doug Libla (R-Poplar Bluff).
