Northwest Missouri State To Conduct “Active Shooter” Drill On Campus Tomorrow

Northwest Missouri State will collaborate with area law enforcement agencies Saturday to conduct a full scale exercise to test response to a scenario involving an active shooter on campus.  The drill is called “FX17,” and will involve multiple campus facilities and more than 200 students and 20 university employees.

The exercise will be held from roughly 7:00-1:30pm.  It will focus on an active shooter situation originating at the Valk Center.

You are asked to avoid the area at that time Saturday if not participating in the exercise.
